The 42-year-old will not be attending Trooping The Colour, with the Palace issuing a statement detailing what will happen during the parade.

The palace has announced that Kate Middleton will not take part in the Colonel’s Review, the official rehearsal that takes place just before ‘Trooping The Colour’.
Former Allied Rapid Reaction Force commander and Lt. Gen. James Bucknall will be superintendent of the event, replacing Kate.
It remains a mystery for the time being if William-Kate’s children will attend « Trooping The Color » accompanying their dad or if the couple will choose to keep them away from press exposure, having their mental health as their number one priority in the midst of of their mother’s battle with terminal illness.
According to the palace announcement, King Charles will attend the military rehearsals with the royal wife, Camilla, in a carriage.
On June 15 the monarch and his wife will take part in ‘Trooping The Colour’ as usual with the only difference being that the king will not be riding on horseback as he used to do with Prince William and Princess Anne but will be transported to the events by carriage . This change is probably due to the state of his health, with the monarch faithfully following the advice of doctors.
The event is part of the celebrations for the official birthday of the monarchy and the presence of the king on the balcony of the Palace along with other members of the family is a tradition.
Despite reports that she made a recent appearance with William and their children, the Princess of Wales is still fighting her own battle with cancer.
Kate Middleton is still undergoing treatments and will refrain from any kind of official appearance until the end of the year which reinforces what is being written about her difficult battle with cancer.
