Evan Blass has just released a tweet giving us a first look at some promotional “posters” announcing the pre-order period for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
The new flagship smartphones will be introduced by Samsung on February 1 and pre-orders will be accepted from 19pm that same day. The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra will go on sale on February 17.
One of the posters shows the rear camera setup for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. The other poster shows the rear camera setup for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Once again, with its square corners, the location of the S Pen, the high-end Galaxy S smartphone is inspired by the iconic look of the Galaxy Note range, which has been discontinued.
Since the leak of a Verizon spec sheet for all three models in the Galaxy S23 series, much of the mystery and suspense of the upcoming Unpacked event has dissipated. That leak even revealed Verizon’s pricing for all three models, which start at $799.99 for the Galaxy S23, $999.99 for the Galaxy S23+, and $1,199.99 for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
As usual, the Galaxy S23 Ultra takes up most projectors, mainly due to the 2-megapixel ISOCELL HP200 camera sensor that will be used for the device’s main camera. The improved Nightography feature (photos and videos captured in low-light environments) and 100x Digital Space Zoom have also prompted smartphone enthusiasts to pull out their credit cards. Samsung has already appealed to the moon to help promote the smartphone.
The choice of color
You might start thinking about the color you want for your new Galaxy S23 phone. The leaked Verizon spec sheet shows that the Galaxy S23 will be offered in Lavender and Green while the Galaxy S23+ will be available in Phantom Black and Cream. Color options for the Galaxy S23 Ultra include Phantom Black, Cream, Lavender, and Green. But, these could be options available to Verizon customers.
The co-founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) says the color options for the Galaxy S23 series will be:
- Beige (which could be called Cotton Flower)
- Black (could be called Phantom Black)
- Green (could be called Botanic Green)
- Light pink (who could be called Misty Lilac)
Young also says the Galaxy S23 Ultra could be available in four additional colors, Grey, Light Blue, Light Green and Red. However, these could be exclusive to models ordered directly from Samsung.
